A venture-building platform for Saudi Arabia's next economy.
Root Vision Group is a Saudi venture-building platform, creating and owning vertically integrated companies across energy transition, carbon management, digital infrastructure, applied AI, mobility, and real assets. We combine technical depth, institutional relationships, and operating capability to build companies that address structural demand, and that stand on their own.
A platform built for Saudi Arabia's transformation.
Root Vision Group was founded to address a specific gap in Saudi Arabia's venture ecosystem: the absence of a structurally integrated platform that combines genuine sector expertise, operating capability, and cross-portfolio leverage in the markets where Vision 2030 creates real economic demand.
We are not a fund that allocates capital and monitors performance from a distance. We are builders, involved in strategy, commercial development, partner negotiations, and operational decisions in every company we create. That operating involvement is not incidental; it is the core of how we generate returns.
Saudi Arabia is a transformation market. The economy is restructuring around new energy, digital infrastructure, AI, and industrial diversification at a pace and scale that creates genuine demand for companies that do not yet exist. We identify those gaps before they are obvious and build to fill them with institutional-grade businesses.
Our six core verticals, energy transition, carbon management, digital infrastructure, applied AI, mobility & deployment, and real assets, are not independent. They form a connected stack in which each layer creates demand for and adds value to the others. That integration is what makes the platform more than a collection of bets.
Technical insight. Operating capability. Platform integration.
Most early-stage platforms in this region choose between capital deployment and operational involvement. We combine both, and add a third dimension: deliberate integration across ventures from the moment they are formed.
Technical depth, not generalism
We bring genuine sector-level technical knowledge to every vertical we enter, energy transition physics, carbon accounting standards, AI systems architecture. That depth changes what we build and how we price it.
Strategic sectors, not opportunistic bets
Every venture we build addresses a structural gap in Saudi Arabia's economy: energy transition, digital infrastructure, carbon management, applied AI, mobility, or real assets. Our entry is driven by fundamental analysis, not deal flow.
Integrated from inception
Ventures are designed to connect with each other from day one. Shared capabilities, cross-portfolio synergies, and coordinated commercial relationships compound value across the platform in ways a standalone company cannot replicate.
Built for independence
We build companies that can stand on their own, attract external capital, and operate without permanent holding company support. Operational self-sufficiency is the goal, not perpetual dependency.
Platform leverage at every stage
Each new venture inherits institutional relationships, operational infrastructure, and market positioning built by the rest of the portfolio, materially reducing cost and time to commercial traction.
Deep local, broadly applicable
We are rooted in Saudi Arabia and integrated with its institutional landscape. The companies we build are structured from the outset with regional and international applicability in mind.
The most consequential economic transformation in the region.
We are not in Saudi Arabia because it is convenient. We are here because the structural conditions for building enduring companies in our sectors are uniquely strong, and the window available to founders who enter now does not remain open indefinitely.
Vision 2030 is structural, not cyclical
Saudi Arabia's transformation agenda creates genuine economic demand, for energy transition infrastructure, digital capacity, industrial localisation, and new financial mechanisms such as carbon markets. This is not a spending cycle; it is an economy being redesigned.
Market timing of this quality is rare
The convergence of capital availability, government ambition, talent development, and regulatory modernisation creates a window that does not remain open indefinitely. Early-stage platforms built now will define the institutional landscape of the next decade.
Demand is sovereign and private simultaneously
Across our sectors, government entities and large private industrial groups both require solutions that do not yet exist at scale. Dual-sided demand from well-capitalised counterparties is an unusual and valuable structural condition.
Operating Philosophy
Consistent principles. Every decision.
We hold a coherent set of operating principles that govern how we originate, build, and scale ventures, and how we allocate time and attention across the platform. These are not aspirational; they shape every decision we make.
How we think about building.
We hold a consistent set of operating principles that govern how we originate, build, and scale ventures, and how we allocate time and attention across the platform. These are not aspirational; they shape every decision.
Originate from structure
We identify opportunities from fundamental economic shifts, not from deal flow or market momentum. Structural demand, created by policy, capital allocation, and industrial necessity, produces companies with durable positions. We build for that, not for the cycle.
Build, not merely monitor
We take active operating roles in every venture we create: setting strategy, structuring the business model, developing commercial pipelines, recruiting senior leadership, and remaining involved through each material inflection point.
Connect before you scale
Before scaling any venture, we integrate it into the platform, ensuring it can leverage shared capabilities and contribute meaningfully to the wider portfolio. Scale without integration dissipates value; integration before scale compounds it.
Partner for what we cannot build
We are deliberate about identifying IP, technology, and capabilities better sourced externally. Structured partnership with the right counterparties is a core part of how we build, not a fallback when internal development fails.
Every venture is stronger because of the others.
Root Vision Group is not a collection of independent bets. It is a platform in which each venture leverages, and contributes to, a shared base of capabilities, relationships, and infrastructure that no standalone company could replicate.
Shared strategic capabilities
Strategy, financial modelling, investor materials, and commercial structuring are available to every venture from inception, avoiding the fixed overhead that would otherwise prevent a company from reaching maturity.
Institutional relationships
Government entities, industrial majors, and technology partners are connected across the portfolio rather than locked to a single venture, allowing introductions, referrals, and co-development at group level.
Cross-portfolio synergies
Ventures are designed to serve each other as customers, suppliers, and co-developers, creating compounding commercial value across the connected stack rather than treating each company as an isolated P&L.
Reduced execution risk
New ventures inherit market positioning, operational infrastructure, and institutional credibility built by the rest of the platform, shortening the path from formation to commercial traction.
Coordinated capital access
Ventures can access group-level relationships with institutional investors, development finance institutions, and strategic partners, presenting to the market with the backing of a known platform.
Integrated intelligence
AI, analytics, and data capabilities developed within one venture are deployed across the portfolio, multiplying their return on investment and creating proprietary advantages unavailable to standalone companies.
